So I've decided that because there is supremely kickass fic out there, I need to start recommending that which I've come across that is outstanding. I will add to this list periodically.
Jericho Fic Recommendations
Different Circumstances by Marzeedoats
This is an ongoing, AU story about Heather and Jake. It alternates between a few years before the bombs and season one episodes, and is amazing in detail and just generally made of awesome. The amount of characterization in this fic truly astounds me. I highly recommend it for any Jake/Heather fan.
Full Circle by Zorcha
This is another one of those amazing, ongoing fics. It's also Jake/Heather, and a mix of AU and current happenings from the show. You also see a lot of the new government and the other Jericho characters. It's very, very realistic characterization and it is intense. I've been on the edge of my seat reading parts of it!
The Mix Tape by dramatic_sigh
Possibly the funniest Jericho fic I've ever read. No real pairings here, but there are undertones of Jake/Heather. It's what could have happened on the way to Black Jack. Warning: do not be drinking any beverages when you read this. :P
Broken and Beautiful by Isisizabel
A very insightful look at Heather's time in New Bern, and her relationship with Eric that has been utterly neglected on the show. Beautifully written and believable, the author brings these characters to life. It ventures between past and present (season two, episode one) as Heather fills in the details for Jake.
Sweetest Downfall by dramatic sigh
This one's actually Heather/Stanley. And it's very incredibly sweet and very realistic for both characters even if the pairing seems odd. Give it a chance. I love it!
Crossing Over by Zorcha
Post-"Oversight." One of the most heart-breaking fics I've read in a long time. Guaranteed for a good cry. Bonnie POV. Beautifully written.
Dangerous by SandraDee
Set as an AU version of season two, it is about Heather returning to Jericho after having been gone for months. A must-read. It's a WIP but man, this author has the characters pegged perfectly. Run, do not walk. You won't be sorry.
Smallville Fic.
My Circle by
elizabethg13184
The Justice League wants to know who is in Chloe's top five circle of friends on her phone. This is a very super cute, funny fic. Chlollie.
Secrets and Lies by
bella8876.
Set post-"Bloodline." Oliver wants the truth about what's going on with Chloe--and he wants to hear it from her. Chlollie.
Rendezvous by
sarcastic_fina.
Lex spies an intimate moment between the Green Arrow and Chloe Sullivan and formulates a plot to discover Arrow's true identity. Chlollie.
Supernatural/Smallville Crossover Fic Recommendations
Lover After Me by
did_it_once
Set during season one of Supernatural, Chloe tries to deal with the fallout of Dean leaving Metropolis to go on a road trip with Sam. Beautifully written and in character with both Dean and Chloe!
Crossing Kansas by
fonapola
Set as an alternative season three of Supernatural and an AU of season 7 for Smallville, it explores what could have happened if Chloe and the boys had finally run into each other. It was, after all, inevitable. It's very well written, illustrated with screencaps, and in my mind, a pretty realistic what-if scenario.
Special Projects by
pen37
An awesome series in which Chloe tracks down the boys to learn more about hunting the supernatural, and becomes intwined in their lives very, very deeply. Brilliant.
Supernatural Fic Recommendations
Angle of Refraction by
dotfic.
Set post "Time is On My Side" it takes a look at what happens to Bela after the episode ends. Rated PG-13.
Opposition Research by
musesfool
Set during the events of "Red Sky at Morning." Bela and Dean have that angry!sex she mentioned before the party. Smut. Very well done.

I agree with your choices. Different Circumstances and Full Circle are amazing fics and I'm just waiting for them to be finished so that I can print them and start reading them from the start (reading several WIPs at the same time confuses my brain! :P)
Broken and Beautiful is, well, beautiful! I love the Heather/Eric friendship.
The Mix Tape is very funny and Sweetest Downfall is... different. I never thought about Heather/Stanley before reading this fic but right there, it works.
Dude, it confuses my brain too. I have to keep going back and rereading, and then I have to try and remember that this stuff hasn't happened on the show, which is ALSO confusing. Hehe. If you have any Jeather or other Jericho fics you think I should check out, feel free to link me! :D
*blushes*
Thank you.
Would you mind if I friend you? You and I seem to have a few things in common. :)
That's my fic on your list.
Whoa.
This is dramatic_sigh from JFF.com and I just wanted to say how wonderful it is that you enjoyed my fics enough to recommend them. ^^
I'm not as active in the Jericho fandom as I once was, but I do write and read every now and then. Different Circumstances is definitely one of my faves and I'll have to check out some of yours and some of the other recs once I get a chance.
I agree, Sweetest Downfall is different. But I love the idea of them before Jake and Mimi came along; they are both such comical and strong characters and their personalities really bounce off one another.
But anyway (time to stop invading your journal :P) thanks again for reading and I'm so thrilled you liked them.
Cheers,
Amelia (dramatic-sigh)
